7. Our Role as Matchmakers

Vidya Marriage Bureau provides introductions between families. We are not liable for matches made based on information provided by applicants.

You have the full right to verify credentials, qualifications, and background of any proposed match. We strongly encourage all families to conduct their own due diligence.

8. What Counts as a Proposal

A match will only count as a valid proposal if it meets your stated requirements. Suggestions clearly outside your criteria will not be counted. Each applicant is entitled to a maximum of 25 proposals at first registration.

9. Registration Validity & Renewal

Registration is valid for one year from the date of registration. Renewal is available upon written request at no additional charge.

10. Complete Registration Required

Your form must be fully completed to begin matchmaking. Missing information must be provided within 15 days of submission — failing which the initial deposit will be forfeited.

11. Keeping Your Details Updated

Inform us of any changes in your personal details or circumstances. Failure to update may result in your profile being suspended from active consideration.

12. Age Requirement

All applicants must be of legal marriageable age under Indian law. It is the responsibility of the applicant and their family to ensure this.

13. Our Right to Manage Memberships

We reserve the right to accept, reject, suspend, or terminate any application or membership at our discretion. We are under no obligation to provide a specific number of matches if no suitable profiles exist in our database.

14. Fees & Refunds

All processing fees and membership charges are non-refundable under any circumstances once paid.

15. Jurisdiction

All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in Delhi, India. The provisions of the Arbitration Act shall also be applicable.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this document from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
